The Committee for a Better Atlanta partnered with The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation with support from Central Atlanta Progress and the Metro Atlanta Chamber to host a morning session on affordable housing. Ensuring Atlanta’s Inclusive Growth – A Discussion on Housing Affordability and the Value of Partnerships explored the critical topic through the contributions of speakers such as Dr. Dan Immergluck, professor at the Urban Studies Institute, Georgia State University, and Henry G. Cisneros, founder and chairman of CityView and former secretary to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. A panel on cross-sector partnerships included representatives from Integral, Miami Homes for All and the City of Seattle Office of Housing. The discussion served to educate the candidates and larger community on the scale of the issue and best practices to consider in the future.
Thank you to everyone who attended.
